Biography

Dr. Freedman received his MD in 1979 and training in internal medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He then completed a fellowship in adult oncology at DFCI and studied cell surface antigens of normal and malignant B lymphocytes. Since 1985 Dr. Freedman has continued laboratory studies of normal and malignant B cells with a special interest in how normal and neoplastic microenvironments affect B cell function. His clinical research involves the development of new therapies for non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.
